Standing Up for Women is Not Bigotry (An Open Letter to Nancy Armour)

Hey Nancy,

I’m curious – do you not see that you are a complete misogynist? In what world is it fair for a girl or woman to compete against men?

Is it fair for our wives, our sisters, our daughters, our granddaughters to lose scholarships and trophies because we must allow men, who were at the bottom of their class when competing against other men, to now compete against women?

In what world is that fair?

Do you despise women athletes that much that you would want to handicap them like this?  

The only hostilities are from people like yourself who want to allow even a “minuscule number” of these men to compete against women.  It matters not whether you shatter one girls dreams or one hundred.  Women athletes are being canceled because people like yourself are signing on to this social experiment. 

You should be on the side of fairness and equity when it comes to women’s sports. How can there be equity when we allow a man to compete against a woman?

It’s beyond comprehension that women would support an issue that is so detrimental to their own well being. 

You should be ashamed of yourself. You should be standing up for women. 

I guess the feminist movement is truly over. 

Grown adults should be able to live the life they want but not when it negatively impacts and harms another.

So I ask you again, is your misogyny lost on you? Why do you want to cancel women athletes?
