Little Hope for Humanity

It is truly amazing the lives we, as a society, choose to celebrate in death.

Everyone one from Madonna to Al Sharpton to Arnold Schwarzenegger have spoken out on the loss of Michael Jackson.

Many, if not most news organizations are labeling his death a “tragedy.” Some have gone so far as to call him “An American Hero.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, I hate to break it to you, but Michael Jackson was nothing more than an eccentric, emotionally disturbed individual who probably should have been institutionalized for his insanity.   Michael Jackson’s death is in no way shape or form a tragedy and he is by no stretch of the imagination an American hero.

Do we forget, do we ignore, the allegations of child molestation, the payoffs to silence those allegations and his own admission of sleeping in the same bed with young boys.

Go ahead, try to prove your point by saying he was acquitted and never convicted of the child molestation charges. Then ask yourself what sane, normal male sleeps in the same bed with little boys. Watch the Bashir interview. Michael Jackson comes across as a card carrying member of NAMBLA trying to justify his contact with minors.

And just what does it say for us, as a society, when a man, upon winning a ticket to the memorial, is quoted in the New York Post as saying, “This is the best day of my life?”  The Post further reported that, “Jubilant fans yesterday flash the hottest tickets in town…”

     IT’S A FUNERAL PEOPLE.

Today I lost a little more faith in humanity.
