The Right Way Forward

Female college student is then labeled that as which she defines herself. (Go ahead, look up that word in the dictionary.)

Female college student receives phone call from the president, who expresses his support and believes her parents should be proud of her.

Proud of her for what?

For publicly claiming that she has more sex then she can afford? Proud of her promiscuous ways? Proud of her extracurricular activities spent on her back?

When I was in school there was a word for that type of girl, but that is after-all, what got us to this point.

Iran is on the verge of developing a nuclear program.  The United States may be heading towards another Cold War with Russia.  US Soldiers are being killed in Afghanistan. Oil and gas prices are spiraling out of control.  The economy. The national debt. Unemployment. The unending threat of terrorism.  All real issues that should be of great concern to every American and our leaders.

And what is this president concerned with? A college student who is whining about not being able to afford contraceptives. A college student who believes she is ENTITLED to free contraceptives so that she can have sex while supposedly earning a degree in law school.

Really?

Sandra Fluke’s parents should be anything but proud.  They should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Every American should be embarrassed and ashamed of this administration.

Not on Watch List
On December 25, 2009, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was allowed to board a plane bound for the United States of America. In his pocket a United States Visa. Secreted on his body, just below his waist, a bag containing explosives.
It is being reported that even though Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was not on a terrorist watch list, his name had been added this past November to a U.S. database of people suspected of having terrorist ties.

No Credible Information
According to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, there had been no specific, credible, or derogatory information about Mutallab, which would have moved him to a “Selectee” or “No Fly” list.

Really.

No specific, credible or derogatory information about Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab?

In May 2009, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was denied a student Visa and placed on a United Kingdom watch list. Derogatory?

In November 2009, Mutallab’s own father, Alhaji Umar Mutallab reported to the United States Embassy in Nigeria that he feared his son’s religious views were becoming “extremist.” Specific? Credible?

Yet despite the failures of our own security measures to recognize and identify Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab as a possible threat, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has the audacity to try and dupe the American people and the world into believing that the “system worked.”

The system did not work!

The United Kingdom’s system worked. They identified Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab as a threat. They denied Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab entry into their country.

Ours did not work!

It is broke. It is flawed. It is governed by political correctness.

It is being run by idiots with little and no experience. The same idiots who only a few months ago warned of “local” rightwing extremists. The same idiots who added those with anti abortion and immigration views and returning war veterans to “local watch lists.”

Current Rules
When acknowledging that Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was not on a terrorist watch list, Security Secretary Janet Napolitano commented that, “…we did not have the kind of information that under the current rules would elevate him.”

Current rules?

Just what are the current rules when US citizens and certain groups get placed on “watch lists” but foreign individuals, already identified by other governments as possible terrorists, do not?

Stepping Back
When asked by David Gregory on Meet the Press this past Sunday, about whether terrorists and al-Qaeda still pose a threat to the United States, Janet Napolitano responded, “Well, I think, stepping back from this case what we see is that al-Qaeda remains a source of threat ….”

Stepping back from this case? How do you step back from this case? The Homeland Security Secretary does not have the luxury of “stepping back” from this or any case.

We are at War
Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab should not have been issued a US Visa; at the very least it should have been revoked. Mutallab should never have been allowed to enter the United States.

We are at war and yet we still fail to recognize who our enemy is. We continue to bow down to pressure and accusations of profiling from the Muslim world. We need not apologize to any foreign government or religious group. We need to protect our citizens and our country from attack. We need tighter immigration laws and to better screen those entering our borders. Our illegal immigration problem is bad enough, but when we start issuing Visa’s to terrorists, I think it’s time to reassess our policies.

Attack Thwarted by the People
This attack was thwarted by the “people.” Not by the government. Not by the authorities. And not by those we look to and expect to protect us.

This administration continues to fail the American people. It continues to govern by political correctness rather than common sense. It continues to focus on all the wrong issues. This president is more concerned with Oprah and Leno and pushing his own agenda than he is with bin Laden, al-Qaeda, Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong-il and our own security.

Once again the American people show that even though they expect so much, they will accept so little.

Obama now has the lowest December approval rating of any first term president elected after World War II.

Gallup reports an approval rating of 47%. A Quinnipiac Poll puts his rating at 46%. Rasmussen is reporting that 53% now disapprove of the presidents performance.

It’s also rather amusing that when the numbers are not in their favor, these idiots are quick to dismiss them.

So let’s get this straight.

Nidal Malik Hasan attended Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center, a mosque that several of the 9/11 hijackers attended. The same mosque that was run by Anwar al Awlaki. A hate filled anti-American imam, who has since praised Hasan for his actions.

It has been made known that Hasan has ties to terrorists and made several attempts to contact al-Qaeda.

It has been made known that Hasan has expressed contempt for the United States.

And yet this man was allowed to remain in the United States military and even promoted.

Can anyone say they are truly surprised?

Let me remind you all that once upon a time there was a man named Barack Hussein Obama who ran for president of the United States of America.

During his campaign, it was made known to the American people that Barack Hussein Obama attended a church run by a hate filled anti-American preacher.

It was made known that Barack Hussein Obama had ties to William Ayers, a domestic terrorist as well as Rashid Khalidi.

It was made known that Barack Hussein Obama’s wife expressed contempt for the United States.

And yet, the American people voted this man into office.

What has become of this country? America where are your morals? Where is your common sense?

We need not face any foreign enemies. We will destroy ourselves from within. All in the name of political correctness.

It was reported last week that Faleh Hassan Almaleki, an Iraqi immigrant living in Peoria, Arizona killed his daughter for becoming too “Westernized.” Almaleki ran his daughter, Noor Faleh Almaleki, and her boyfriend’s mother down in his Jeep this past October.

Reason he gave; “his daughter had brought shame on him and his family.” An “honor killing.”

What is truly disturbing is the fact that these “honor killings,” which are sanctioned under Sharia or Islamic Law, are becoming more and more prevalent in the West and here in the United States. There is actually a movement to have Sharia Law incorporated and accepted with western legal systems.

And they’ll use our own Constitution to do it. You know that part about Freedom of Religion.

Learn what it is that fundamental Islam is all about. Educate yourselves.

And some advice to future Faleh Hassan Almaleki’s, it’s very simple.

If you don’t want your family, your sons, your daughters to become “Westernized,” STAY IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY AND DON”T COME HERE!

It’s really that easy. Not much thought involved.

Disgraced New York Governor Elliot Spitzer today appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Meeting with Dylan Ratigan .

I guess Ratigan and the powers to be at the station figured Spitzer an appropriate guest considering that Spitzer spent close to $100,000 on hookers over several years.

Think about it. If he was able to spend that much money and hide it from his wife, he must know a little something about finance.

Only in America can a man engage in criminal activity, disgrace his wife and family, be forced to resign from public office, still be called governor and still be a guest on a national talk show.

ONLY IN AMERICA….

10.2% unemployment rate in the United States now.

Almost 16 million Americans out of work.

WOW!

Is this the change he was talking about? Is this the change you all wanted?

In a televised press conference, immediately following the attack at Fort Hood, it took this president almost two and a half minutes to acknowledge the tragedy. I guess discussing a meeting with Native Americans was more important than acknowledging that twelve people were killed and thirty wounded on a US Army Base.

To make matters even more unbelievable, this president gives a “shout out” during his opening remarks.

A “shout out.”

What world leader speaks this way? How can anyone expect to be taken seriously when they talk like this?

Could you imagine John F. Kennedy, George Bush, Bill Clinton, The Queen of England or any other world leader for that matter addressing the press and giving a “shout out” to someone?

Imagine FDR in his radio address following D Day. “I’d like to give a shout out to my man Dwight D. Eisenhower for a job well done.”

Imagine?

Is it me?

Once again this president shows his ignorance and his inability to act like a president.

He has no clue.

Way to go America. Hope this was the change you wanted.

Sure, just as long as you’re on “their” side and it’s “their” speech and “their” press.
It’s almost as if these people have forgotten anything that happened prior to November 3, 2008.

For far too long, our politicians on every level; local, state and federal, have continually failed us.

Taxes continue to rise, utilities continue to rise, the health care bill, talk of taxes on sugar products such as soda and sports drinks, the list is endless.

Governmental control has grown.

Democracy has been hijacked and our voices have been silenced. Our freedom is slowly being stripped away.

Political correctness is out of control.

We accept that illegal immigrants are given the same, if not more, rights and privileges than our own citizens.

We accept the removal of signs and symbols of certain religious groups, while minority religions are given more holidays.

We accept that the rights of terrorists and enemy prisoners are more important than saving American lives.

We accept that our elected officials and those appointed by them are tax cheats, adulterers, liars, communists, etc…….

We accept a New York City mayor who has changed and ignored the law of term limits.

We accept a president and his wife who both loathe the country they serve.

We accept that the vocal minority rule the silent majority.

Don’t we deserve better? Shouldn’t we demand better?

The time has come for our voices to be heard.

EVERY POLITICO ON EVERY LEVEL MUST BE VOTED OUT.

It is time to remind these elected officials that “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their powers from the consent of the governed,-…” We must send a message that it is still “WE THE PEOPLE.”

Every incumbent must go.

Let us not wait for “…an absolute Tyranny over these states.”
